• Footnotes

  * Render used to be feline in Furcadia because when he was created, the human option was not available. In other contexts, he is typically human. Since there was a large hiatus in playing him, I've decided just to say somewhere on his journey he regained human form.

• Character Notes

  Render might have emotions, or at least the capacity for them, but he is not aware of them. So he is effectively unable to feel or understand emotion. Therefore he cannot be angered, irritated, flattered, or intimidated. He processes things mostly on logic, based on what he can observe or surmise. He is capable of being confused, therefore, by things which do not appear logical. But the confusion is only to the extent that he may not initially understand.
  
  Render also uses a more archaic mode of speech. Most notable is that he does not use do+verb constructions (like the one in this sentence). So he would say "I know not," "I see not," and "Want you" instead of "I don't know," "I don't see," or "Do you want." He's also prone to use more archaic words, or words in older senses. Probably because he's been alive for longer than is apparent. It should also be noted that, due to his emotionless tone of voice, his questions sound more like statements. Therefore, they will end with full stops, not question marks.
